Boys Varsity Football · STATE QUARTER FINAL-Football travels to WISE Friday!

For the second year in a row the Jaguars will travel to Wise for a chance to continue their season in the state playoffs. After an undefeated 2018 campaign the Jaguars faced a tough team that had not lost to a county opponent in since 2014. The Pumas were able to control the line of scrimmage and force the Jags into poor field position most of the game. Wise defeated the Jags 22-12 and advanced the the State Semi Final.

This year the Jaguars 9-2 overall (7-2 regular season) go into the game with confidence, their last loss was against Laurel back on September 21st and they defeated a tough Bowie team 18-7 in the 2nd round of regional play.  The team has navigated some tough obstacles this season and look at this as an opportunity to knock off, probably the best team in the state over the last 5 seasons. Wise continued their winning ways and had another undefeated season, this sets up to be an awesome game with two of the best in Prince George’s County.

Kick-off is set for 7pm on Friday, November 22nd at Dr. Henry Wise Jr. High School. Tickets are $6. The winner of this contest will advance to the State Semi-Final vs. the winner of the Paint Branch v Northwest match up on November 29th.
