Girls Junior Varsity Basketball, Girls Varsity Basketball · Girls Basketball host Fairmont Heights on Tuesday December 10

On December 10, 2019 the Charles H. Flowers Lady Jaguars Girls Basketball Team will kickoff the new 2020 season by celebrating their 2019 State Championship with a banner and ring celebration. The Lady Jaguars had an historic season going 24-2, they won the P. G. County Championship title and won the first ever State Championship for girls basketball in Flowers’ history. The Championship team had 6 seniors (Jasmine Hilton, Kennedy Corley, India Young, Cori Robinson, Armoni Fenwick, Jarmya Key), 5 juniors (Kaniyah Harris, LaShawna Robinson, Keona Matthews, Makayla Ware, Indira Nzerue), 2 sophomores (Carlee Foster, Taniyah Hogg), and 1 freshman (Marie Conteh). Lead by Coach Rod Hairston in his first year as the Lady Jaguars Head Coach and Assistant Coaches Tiffany Smith, Craig Brown, Farris Muhammad, and DeNea Price. Some of our Student-Athletes  received several accolades by being named on the USA Today High School list, Washington Post All-Met list, All-County list, Sentinel Newspaper player of the year.

Please join the Lady Jaguars as they “Defend the Crown” in the 2020 season. December 10th at 7pm Flowers verse Fairmont Heights at Flowers Gymnasium.
