As schools open student-athletes are wondering, what about sports?  During the first semester all athletics will be on hold. District leadership will evaluate the possibility of a second semester sport season later this year. Meanwhile, coaches and athletic directors will be conducting a virtual sports season throughout the first semester. The program is called CyberSport


Prince George’s County Public schools will open schools on August 31 at 100% virtual learning. MD Schools will Remain Closed

On Wednesday, May 6 State Superintendent Dr. Karen Salmon announced that all Maryland public schools will be closed for the remainder of the 2019-20 school year.

NCAA waives SAT/ACT for Class of 2020

The NCAA Eligibility Center sent out guidelines this morning regarding adjustments to initial-eligibility requirements due to COVID-19.   SAT/ACT is waived, you still must meet all other academic requirements.   Class of 2020: Students with an expected Spring/Summer 2020 graduation date who initially enroll full time in 2020-21 will receive a COVID-19 Automatic Waiver (athletics
